Happy September Party People! I’m so excited for the month of September! Not only because it’s my birthday month but also because I like
to refer to September as a month for growth, new beginnings, and new opportunities!
Last night, it was one of my close friend’s birthday and we went out for dinner to an Italian restaurant called Cibo Wine Bar which is located downtown Toronto. For the look of the night, I was going for an autumn feel since Mother Nature has decided to start fall early this year. (The weather literally feels like October!) Statement jackets are perfect for date nights and can make any boring outfit pop! This leather jacket happened to be my OOTN inspiration. To compliment it, I wore a deep orange tank underneath and paired it with jogger leather pants which were both stylish and comfortable. I wore brown peek-a-boo heels to keep the look more on the fall side which also made my jacket stand out. P.S- I included these shoes in an affordable fashion haul I posted on my channel, be sure to check it out!
What’s your favourite thing about September?
Hey Party People! On Tuesday, a few friends and I decided to have a girl’s night by going out for dinner downtown.
I was going for a quick and easy evening to night transition look. I had also bought these super chic, mesh clear heels that are currently trending from Sirens and I’ve been dying to wear them somewhere, which had also inspired this look. Since I wanted the focus to be mainly on my footwear, I decided to keep it simple with my outfit by wearing this mid-bodycon bodysuit which I purchased from BooHoo.com The evening was a bit on the cooler side so I threw on a light bomber jacket.
This baby pink bomber is from Zara; one of my fav pieces because of its girly colour, and can be worn both casually or can be dressed up. (It also went perfectly with my heels!) No look is completed without a purse to accessorize. I got this Channel look alike purse from Ardene and added the pink fur pom keychain to it, because, why not!? As for my hair, I did a quick twist ponytail to give the look a girly feel.
P.S- I also just uploaded a new Youtube video on how to achieve this hairstyle. Be sure to check it out! www.Youtube.com/PetiteTinaa
What’s your favourite thing to do for a girl’s night?
On Friday July 21st, 2017 I was able to attend an inspirational event held by “Our Women’s Voices”. Our Women’s Voices (also known as OWV) is a movement that helps motivate, promote and build the strengths of women for all ages, races, and cultures. Their goal is to create a safe space and platform for women of all kind to come together to share their struggles, personal growth stories, and success as being a woman in today’s society.
This particular event which was held downtown Toronto was a night filled with praise, encouragement, and inspiration. There were also several vendors present selling varies items of their craft from natural soaps, handcrafted jewelry, magazines, clothing and sweet treats.
For this event, I choose to wear this black and white striped 2 piece which is by the brand DO+BE. This fit was a neat day to night transition outfit for a summer evening. I love 2 pieces because it makes creating a look effortless. 2 pieces can also be worn separately, giving you multiple looks with the same items and people will never know when you mix them up!
Since this set was a bit more on the abstract side, I went for a classic black and white look for the night. To kept it simple I wore clear black chunky heels with minimal gold accessories along with a gold clutch purse to make the fit pop. Overall, it was a great night that opened my eyes towards some of my own personal goals and I’m looking forward to applying the tips and advice I have attained from the event.

Happy Saturday Party People! Today’s post is dedicated to a day out with the girls. On Thursday I went out for lunch with a few friends downtown and when I go downtown, I like to dress both comfortably, and classy with an edge. With my POVRICH APPAREL, I was able to create a look around this easily!
POVRICH APPAREL is an upcoming brand in the GTA who also ships internationally. They sell both women and men apparel; all pieces are handmade with a creative outlook making them statement pieces wherever you go. I’m in love with these capris because of its comfortable stretchy fit and the lace detailing it has up both sides of the leg. They are also extremely distressed which gives them that edgy feel, perfect for a date downtown.
I paired my POVRICH jeans with a striped long sleeve blouse that had a rose detailing on the left chest pocket to give the look some colour (since it is summer, DUH!). I also cuffed the sleeves and buttoned it half way in order to show a peek a boo of my red lace bralette which gave my look a bit more of definition because of the different texture detail. I purchased my blouse from SIRENS, however, this design seems to be very popular this summer and can be found in many stores such as HM, Ardene, Zara, Forever 21, spring and more! My slides are also from SIRENS and are super cute because of the velvet material and had that rose detailing to match.
Ironic enough, I found this rose purse in my mothers closet and obviously had to wear it because it gave my outfit the complete look I was going for. I love side purse because they are convenient to carry and keeps your hands free.
My makeup details included a dark red lip which I created by mixing a brown lip liner called EXPRESSO from NYX with my Ruby WOO matte lipstick from MAC. My falsies are from Beautymark Bundles in the style CHA. You can also save some dollars off if you use my PROMO code “PETITE” on your purchase this month!

Happy Sunday Party People! For most of us, it seems that this weekend of June has been an eventful one. On June 24th, 2017 I was honored to be a guest at my mother’s apple green and white birthday bash.
For my outfit of the night I was going for a Rihanna inspired look by rocking an oversized tee (which I just happened to borrow from my father’s closet lol) with a waist clinching laced down belt (these belts are super trending right now, but are so hard to find to fit little waists like mine). In order to give this plain white tee some shimmer, I threw on a pair of diamond detailed heels along with a bunch of silver bracelets and a diamond chocker to match.
I wanted to keep my outfit to a minimum because I wanted to try something new and create a dramatic makeup look with incorporating the colour apple green into my eye shawdow and lipstick. (Sadly, I didnt get many photos in my fit or of my makeup up close to share with you guys.) Overall, the night was amazing! Filled with good vibes, great music, and fashionable people who all came out in their best apple green and white to help celebrate my mother’s birthday day! Another Happy Birthday shoutout to my mother and to many more years to come!
Happy June Party People! So excited that summer weather as FINALLY arrived! Summer has to be one of my top two favourite seasons of the year (besides from the fact that all the bugs are coming out of course lol ) It’s time to bust out the stylish sunnies, cute sandals, and trendy outfits!
Today’s outfit of the day was geared towards an informal meeting look. With the weather being warm I figured it would be appropriate to pull out these super cute cheetah print shorts I bought from Forever 21 a few years back. They are a high-waist, loose fit and sits snug at the waistline. I wore a plain white bodysuit which I purchased at Sirens to give the look a more daytime feel. I paired this effortless outfit with a pair of chunky buckle heels I also got from Sirens, to give it a more business feel. Lastly, it wouldn’t be an outfit by Petite if I didn’t incorporate some accessories! I found a bunch of random bangles laying in my drawer and just threw everything on to add some details to my fit, along with a super cute clutch purse I stole from my mom’s closet. A summer look wouldn’t be completed without a pair of bomb sunnies, so I decided to take my cat eye cheetah print frames out of its case.
As for hair details, with the weather being so humid, I just slicked everything up into a tight knot bun to keep it out of the way, which also gives the fit an overall classier finish.
What’s your favourite summer styles?
Happy long weekend Party People! So far, this weekend has been an exciting one for me. I got the opportunity to attend a West Indian wedding. It was my delight to be able to experience a different culture for a night so of course, I had to embrace their fashion!
For this event, I wore a sari suit which was very interesting for me. There’s so much detail in these suits and great technique to putting it together. I give a round of applause to those who wear saris on a daily basis and style them with ease because it definitely
isn’t as easy as it looks. I truly felt like a princess wearing this sari and received a tremendous amount of compliments.
In order to enjoy the full experience, I got henna art done on my hands as well. Mehndi is a traditional art used for celebrations for Hindus. There are many different types of mehndi art followed by different meanings. It took about 45 minutes to complete this design and roughly about 1-2 hours to dry completely. Henna tattoos usually last from 1-2 weeks depending on your skin type and body part it is done on.
I was so ecstatic to be a guest at this lovely wedding giving me the opportunity to experience something new, both cultural
and fashion wise. Included in this post, are a few photos of my family and I at the wedding.
What wedding traditions does your culture do?
